First Unitarian Church of Hamilton

First Unitarian Church Logo

The First Unitarian Church of Hamilton is a member of the Canadian Unitarian Council and is one of the largest and oldest of its roughly 50 congregations.

Unitarians are religious liberals, open to religious truth from many sources and committed to spiritual growth, freedom, tolerance and action for social justice. First Hamilton, celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2009, has an excellent music program, religious education for all ages and social justice efforts focused on poverty, fair trade and reducing the congregation’s environmental footprint.

Our present location is a former hardware store which our congregation renovated.  Worship services are at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday.
