Actions and commitments taken by our Champions Organizations

The City of Hamilton is undertaking a Corporate and Community Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory that will capture local sources of criteria air pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions to identify areas of action in the City and to track our progress towards the targets of 10% reductions in 2012, followed by 20% reductions in 2020.  Areas identified in the community include transportation, energy consumption - residential, commercial and industrial, waste, agriculture and forestry. The Air Pollutant and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory is to be completed in June 2009.
