Climate Change Champions is a program started by Green Venture and Environment Hamilton to help organizations reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Twenty-four organizations received climate change action plans. Our champions organizations include not-for-profit, faith groups, small businesses and schools. The action plans aimed for 10% greenhouse gas reduction by 2012, and 20% greenhouse gas reduction by 2020.
